DESCRIPTION
A top quality mixture specially formulated to produce an excellent lawn under shady conditions with good drought tolerance. A mixture of shade tolerant grasses will give the additional benefit of a top quality lawn which will maintain its appearance and colour in dry conditions.
SUITABILITY
For semi and relatively dense shaded
areas under trees and next to high walls
and hedges. An ideal mixture for
overseeding in Spring or Autumn.

Hard Fescue, Strong and Slender Creeping Red Fescue, Browntop Bent.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
To create and maintain a high quality lawn, apply Johnson's Bio-Active Lawn Feed before sowing. Once the lawn is established, apply Bio-Active Lawn Feed 2/3 times a year.

SOWING DATES
Sow between March and October. Young
grass will appear within 14-21 days
under good growing conditions.
SOWING RATES
New Lawn:
  35g per sq. metre (1¼ oz per sq. yard)
Overseeding:
  25g per sq. metre (¾ oz per sq. yard).
MOWING HEIGHT
New Lawn:
  When grass is 5-8cm (2-3in) high, cut
for the first time. Trim lightly and
gradually lower blades to an ideal
cutting height of 13mm (½in).
Subsequent Cuts:
  Mow regularly but try not to remove more than a third of the growth at any one time.
